2025 WINOBRANIE Wine Festival Tour

Join us on an exciting wine, food, and cultural journey through one of the oldest wine regions of Poland – Lubuskie – on the mid-western border of Poland and the annual, week-long WINOBRANIE Wine Festival in the city of Zielona Gora! 

(WINOBRANIE Wine Festival itself date is September 6 - 14, 2025 - 9 days in total! We'll attend WINOBRANIE Wine Festival with our tour guests from September 6 - 10, 2025 - 5 days/4 nights this year). Also this year, our group will be staying together at RUBEN HOTEL**** within walking distance to Old Town of Zielona Gora, Poland. We'll be sharing a detailed day-by-day itinerary (including historic wine cellars Polish wine tasting and WINOBUSY excursions) with our guests as soon as the 2025 WINOBRANIE Wine Festival's schedule is announced.

This is the biggest and oldest Wine Festival in Poland. Typically, over 40 vineyards from Lubuskie region and Lubuskie Wine and Honey Trail participate at the Festival and there are more than 130 market stalls scattered throughout the downtown area offering Polish wine, food, handicrafts and live entertainment. WINOBUSY – Wine Buses will be taking attendees to various vineyards for fun and delicious tours and tastings with local winemakers throughout the week. 

Day 1: WINOBRANIE – Wine Festival
Location: Zielona Gora, Poland

Embark on a journey to the Lubuskie region of Poland, where you’ll be met and greeted at your hotel of choice in Zielona Gora and/or transferred to your accommodation out of town. For the next five days you’ll be spending time at the annual WINOBRANIE Wine Festival in Zielona Gora. Watching the festive opening parade of the wine festival with dressed up characters walking and riding thru the streets of Zielona Gora and ending in the city’s Market Square. Get introduced to and taste delicious Lubuskie region wines and Polish craft beer, arts and crafts and much, much more. Later in the evening, enjoy Welcome Dinner in Zielona Gora.

Day 2: WINOBRANIE – Wine Festival
Location: Zielona Gora, Poland
Accommodations: RUBEN Hotel****
Today, after breakfast, return to Zielona Gora to attend the second day of activities and wine tastings at the WINOBRANIE Wine Festival. Take two separate WINOBUSY - wine buses, to local vineyards to meet winemakers and tour and taste their exquisite wines. At nighttime, enjoy guided walk with portable retro oil lanterns to most important historic Zielona Gora wine cellars. 

Day 3: WINOBRANIE – Wine Festival
Location: Zielona Gora, Poland
Accommodations: RUBEN Hotel****
On day three, after breakfast, spend your free morning relaxing at your hotel. Experience treatments at the spa or go for a swim at the swimming pool, if your hotel of choice offers those amenities or venture outdoor to enjoy activities such as Nordic walking and/or biking. In the afternoon, join our group and take another WINOBUS to the countryside to enjoy Polish wine tour and tasting. In the evening, savor an elegant dinner based on local delicacies, paired with wines from Lubuskie wineries at Zajazd Pocztowy in Zielona Gora.

Day 5: Return To Home Country or Extend Your Stay in Poland
Location: Zielona Gora
Accommodations: RUBEN Hotel****
On day five, enjoy your morning and breakfast at your hotel and check out or extend your stay for more relaxation and enjoyment in Zielona Gora or transfer to another location in Poland. 

Wine Tour Details

• We're delighted to offer custom-made Polish wine tours tailored to your individual needs.
• We create a custom itinerary that includes visits to local winemakers, restaurants, and other attractions in the region.
• The selection of vineyards and wines available may change depending on the season, as does the food pairings for those wines.
• We provide you with a list of recommended vineyards tailored to the region. You can plan your visit around the types of wine you enjoy or would like to sample.
• Based on our past tours, we recommend limiting the number of vineyards visited daily to a maximum of three to four for an optimal experience due to distance, availability, and other factors.
• We provide transportation to and from the vineyards.
• A tour guide is provided to explain the history and process of winemaking at each vineyard.
• We can arrange for cooking classes or wine-pairing dinners.
• We can provide a list of recommended restaurants and other attractions in the area to help you get the most out of your stay.
